The BAHA experience in a compact 1/10 scale
Meet the new Rovan BAHA 10B, a compact brushless off-road buggy inspired by the unmistakable design and character of the larger BAHA/Baja-style buggies.
The BAHA 10B brings this concept to a much more convenient 1/10 scale, making it easier to transport, store and run while retaining proper hobby-grade components including an aluminium chassis, independent suspension, adjustable oil-filled shocks and a powerful brushless drivetrain.
The buggy is supplied almost completely ready to run. A suitable 2S LiPo drive battery is the main item that must be purchased separately.
Powerful brushless system
Power comes from a 3652 3800KV sensorless brushless motor combined with a 60A sensorless brushless ESC.
The power system is designed for a 2S LiPo battery (7.4V nominal / 8.4V fully charged).
A higher battery C-rating is not a problem. The important points are that the battery is 2S / 7.4V, physically fits the battery compartment and has the appropriate connector.
Strong 6061-T6 aluminium chassis
At the heart of the BAHA 10B is a 6061-T6 aluminium main chassis, providing a strong foundation for the drivetrain and suspension.
Its independent double wishbone suspension is designed to improve impact resistance and provide stable handling over a variety of off-road surfaces.
Adjustable oil-filled shocks
The buggy features adjustable metal oil-filled shock absorbers with 3 mm metal shock shafts.
This allows the suspension to deal with the bumps and jumps encountered during off-road driving while also giving the BAHA 10B a distinctly hobby-grade appearance.
6 kg digital steering servo
Steering is handled by a 6 kg digital steering servo, providing precise and responsive steering control.
2.4GHz radio system included
A 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver system is included. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the BAHA 10B uses a non-LCD 6-channel 2.4GHz radio system.
No separate RC transmitter or receiver is therefore required.
Off-road tyres
The BAHA 10B comes fitted with rubber off-road tyres designed to provide grip on a variety of surfaces.
Tyre dimensions:
- Front: 90 × 32 mm
- Rear: 90 × 40 mm
The wider rear tyres provide additional traction to the driven rear axle.
